Although a babies first Christmas is very special. The chances are they won’t know much about it. Parents all over the world feel that they have to spend a lot of money at Christmas on presents which they may end up paying for throughout the rest of the year. When it comes to choosing a present for a baby, whether it be for birthdays or Christmas, it is often a nice idea to get them something that they need rather than just another generic toy. If for example they are getting to the stage where they can use a bouncer or highchair then this may be a better option than lots of toys. If you are short on toys then of course there is no harm in getting some but you may find that lots of other people will buy them as well.

If they are just starting to move on to having solid foods then you may put a new dinner set or some cutlery on their Christmas list. Again, these are all nice gifts but they are also very practical too. You may decide that you invest some money into a beautiful Christmas outfit instead or even on a lovey family photoshoot that you will be able to hang on your wall for years to come. These can even make great gifts for other people too.
