As a mum, I am aware of how many items of clothing I have bought for my children that simply did not get worn or were only worn a handful of times.

Some people are adamant that they will not buy second hand clothes for their child. A child grows so fast that often clothing does not get the wear out of it before it no longer fits them. If you have a second child then you may be able to pass these items down to them but if not you may wish to donate them to a charity shop or sell them at a car boot sale or online.

There is nothing wrong with buying clothes that are second hand as long as they are clean and you can save yourself a small fortune in doing so. This will allow you to spend more money on day trips out and holidays that will create memories for your child, something that clothes will not do.
