When your baby starts crawling around the house it’s a joyous moment. After that comes its first steps, the moment that happens you know it’s time to get a suitable pair of shoes.

Whilst it’s getting to grips with walking around the house, let your baby walk around the house barefoot. It will help the child balance and coordinate her steps, whilst also allowing her feet to develop naturally without any restriction.

Make sure to get your child’s feet measured by a professional in a shoe store. When purchasing the shoe, consider one with velcro or laces to keep the baby’s feet in place. Try to leave a gap of 1cm in the toe-box, leaving room for the feet to grow.
