As a parent there may come a time when your child wants to participate in a particular activity or sport. Often many parents encourage this and like to see their child involved in something such as a ballet group or football team.

Cost is often an issue through when it comes to these types of activities, especially where a uniform or kit is required. After recently enrolling my child in a Ballet and Tap class, I was surprised to find out exactly how much it was going to be. From the initial cost of £ per week for the class, I very quickly realised that she needed the uniform that all the others were wearing. After buying the two pairs of shoes, skirts and leotards it had already added up to over £60.

You can sometime save money on uniforms by shopping around on the internet to find a lower priced option, but for some activities the uniform is personalised and therefore can only be purchased from the class or club.
