With Christmas just around the corner, many parents are hastily awaiting Christmas jumper day. Often each school has different rules when it comes to wearing your own clothes in the run up to Christmas but it appears that year upon year students are being asked to wear “something Christmassy” more and more.
Some schools now even have a Christmas jumper week where the children can wear a festive jumper for the whole last week of term. For many parents this can come as a bit of a nuisance as we all know that these jumpers often cost around £10 each. If you have more than one child the costs can very quickly add up. If you need to put your child or children in something Christmassy for a whole week then you will need more than one item unless you are planning on having to wash and dry it every couple of days. If you are in need of festive outfits that won’t break the bank then you may be able to choose a festive t-shirt rather than a jumper. These can often be picked up for as little as £2 allowing you to get two or three and still cost less than one jumper.
