Many of us like our children to have a new outfit to wear on Christmas day. You can spend a fortune on Christmas outfits and it is easy to lose track of how much you have spent when you add up the shoes, dresses and cardi’s.
Often children will only be able to wear their Christmas outfit for that Christmas as by the following year they will have grown out of it, so it means that they may actually only wear the outfit once or twice.
Ideally you want to get a Christmas outfit that can be worn throughout the rest of winter and not just around Christmas. This means that the child will get more wear out of it and therefore you will get your money’s worth.
If you have a younger child you may be able to pass the Christmas outfit down to them the following year. You could always buy a second hand Christmas outfit if you want them dressed in a Santa suit for example.
