Shoe shopping for toddlers can be such a chore. Especially when you have no idea when your child is going to have their next growth spurt! Below are three tips when purchasing toddler shoes.
- Do not get tempted to purchase your child’s shoes online. Take them to a shoe store and have their feet measured before purchase.
- Do not purchase shoes bigger than what they should be. By purchasing shoes bigger than your child’s feet, you may be getting a longer wear time out of the pair, but you’re also making it harder for the child to walk. This could lead to an accident, sprained limbs etc.
- When trying on the shoes, check the child’s heel and make sure the shoe doesn’t slip up and down whilst walking as this can lead to blisters.
