Shoe shopping for toddlers can be such a chore. Especially when you have no idea when your child is going to have their next growth spurt! Below are three tips when purchasing toddler shoes.

  1. Do not get tempted to purchase your child’s shoes online. Take them to a shoe store and have their feet measured before purchase.
  2. Do not purchase shoes bigger than what they should be. By purchasing shoes bigger than your child’s feet, you may be getting a longer wear time out of the pair, but you’re also making it harder for the child to walk. This could lead to an accident, sprained limbs etc.
  3. When trying on the shoes, check the child’s heel and make sure the shoe doesn’t slip up and down whilst walking as this can lead to blisters.
