As a parent you will most probably buy the bulk of the school uniform in the 6 week summer holiday. At this time of year many shops stock school uniform and it is easy to pick up even when doing your weekly food shop. As September starts, less and less places stock school uniform and you may struggle to get it in stores. Children can grow a lot in a year, not to mention, getting stains on their uniform which means you will often need to replace it more than once throughout the school year. Scoring the shops you may struggle to find any uniform in stock and if you do they often only have a very limited choice of colours or sizes.
The best way to find replacement uniform is to order it online. The only issue with this is that you cannot get the child to try it on first so it is often advisable to buy it in more than one size if in doubt. If you buy it from a retailer that has a physical location then you may be able to return it in store to sort out a refund quicker than if you have to post it back to them.
Some shops will stock uniform all year round but it is worth finding out where these shops are before you find yourself desperately in need of new items of clothing.
