Baby clothes are no longer what they were a number of years ago, where it was often blue for boys and pink for girls. The colours were often pastel shades and the styles similar year after year. With some designers now focusing their attention on baby clothes such as Myleene Klass with her range called Baby K, trendy, designer clothes are all the range for new-borns and toddlers.
It is nice to see children in brightly coloured trendy clothes, but I feel it is mostly the parents influence on the child that may have an impact when they are older. If a child is brought up getting use to wearing designer clothing then they will expect to be able to do this as they get older and the sad truth is that they may not be in a position to do so.
Children grow out of clothes so quickly that often you find an outfit you bought is already too small when they have only had one opportunity to wear it.
